About The Position
Assists Cardiologists with select procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab. Performs functions related to circulating, scrubbing, recording, and x-ray duties. Provides direct patient care, basic interpretation of hemodynamics and ECG, and medication administration. Troubleshoots Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab equipment with minimal assistance.
Requirements
- Associate degree, or two years of formal education or training beyond high school.
- At least 1 year of CVT experience.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) proof, valid for at least 90 days after hire.
- For units requiring it, current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) proof, valid for at least 90 days after hire.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
