As Cardiovascular Technician II, your skills will help physicians identify and diagnose issues with the heart and surrounding blood vessels. As needed, you will process test results, ensuring absolute accuracy and clarity. Within this unit, you will collaborate with fellow caregivers and supervisors to facilitate a positive, welcoming patient experience, from initial introduction to final sendoff. At Cleveland Clinic, you can make a lasting difference in the lives of patients and their families. A caregiver in this position works 8:00am to 4:30pm or 7:00am to 3:30pm with no weekends, on-call or holidays required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Healthcare Provider Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross

Nice To Haves

• Credentials as an Allied Health Professional
• Completion of a Cardiac Technician and EEG Program
• Six months of experience as an ECG Tech and Stress Testing experience

Responsibilities

• Perform 12-lead Electrocardiograms, Holter Monitor Hook-Ups and Cardiac Stress Testing, including 24-hour, 48-hour, and 30-day event monitors and/or EEG testing.
• Notify physicians, nurses or managers of abnormal results.
• Notify secretaries of needed supplies.
• Maintain/troubleshoot equipment and notify Clinical Engineering of ongoing problems that cannot be resolved.
• Process test results before and following physician interpretations.
