Cardiovascular Surgery (First Assist) - Advanced Practice Provider
About The Position
Carle Health is seeking an additional CV Surgery 1st Assist Advanced Practice Provider to join their established team in Urbana, Illinois. This role involves a comprehensive practice including surgery, clinic, and hospital rounding. The practice scope includes adult cardiothoracic surgery (CABG, valve surgery, TAVR) and major/minor vascular surgery (EVAR, open aneurysm repair, carotid endarterectomy). There is an opportunity to develop a sub-practice based on clinical interests. The position also offers the potential for academic and/or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine.
Requirements
- Adult cardiothoracic surgery - CABG, valve surgery, TAVR
- Major / minor vascular surgery including EVAR and open aneurysm repair, carotid endarterectomy
- Surgically-trained APPs who want to experience the professional satisfaction of cardiothoracic and vascular surgery
