STEMI call and weekday coverage, 10-hour day shift as needed. This role assists the cardiologist and/or vascular surgeon in performing diagnostic and invasive cardiac, vascular, and EP procedures, including permanent pacemaker implantation and ICD implants. The position involves acquiring and processing state-of-the-art imaging, operating equipment in interventional and diagnostic labs, and participating in hemodynamic monitoring, scrubbing, and circulating duties. The technologist obtains vital hemodynamic data, maintains inventory, utilizes aseptic technique, and troubleshoots diagnostic and interventional modalities. They provide technical skills for interventional cardiac, endovascular, diagnostic, and EP procedures, ensuring a safe environment with radiation protection protocols. Inventory management, supply and procedural billing assistance, and daily X-Ray QA are also key responsibilities. The role includes equipment calibration, operation, troubleshooting, and documentation. There is a rotation through call, requiring onsite presence within 30 minutes. Mentoring and training students and new employees, accurate documentation, and floating to assist in Diagnostic Imaging are also part of the role.
