As our Cath Lab/EP Technologist, you will join our very experienced team of advanced registry certified SPTs as well as a Team of physicians who will rely on you to add to their procedure with your knowledge and skills. Our SPTs either Pan at the end of the procedural table or Scrub-assist procedures. You will also help in our pre/post recovery area; learning to prep patients, start peripheral IV lines and chart on our patients. We also send a team to work in the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) program to assist in the Hybrid Surgical Suite weekly. Although Cath Lab/EP experience is preferred, the team is willing to train New to Service Rad Tech. As a Special Procedures Technologist, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced team. Our Cath Lab Tech is an integral part of the Cath lab team. Our Cardiovascular Techs are responsible for many duties, including medical imaging responsibilities, scrubbing, circulating and monitoring during the procedure. This position facilitates services and provides clinical support within the department. Performs prescribed procedures as directed by following department/facility policies, procedures and protocols. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to organize and provide care appropriate to patient population.
