About The Position
Cardiology Center of Houston is in search of a Full-Time Dual Sonographer to join our team in Katy, TX. This role involves performing 2-D Echo and Doppler studies, as well as a variety of noninvasive vascular evaluations. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service and the highest quality patient care, while ensuring all required licensure/certification remain active/current. The position also requires protecting patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations and actively demonstrating teamwork. Adherence to company safety standards and other policies and procedures is expected.
Requirements
- Credentialed in Adult Echocardiography and Vascular (ARDMS or CCI) is required.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of two years of experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs 2-D Echo and Doppler studies.
- Responsible for performing a variety of noninvasive vascular evaluations.
- Explains procedures to patients and obtains informed consent from patient.
- Ensures all required licensure/certification always remain active/current.
- Provides excellent customer service and the highest quality patient care.
- Protects the confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) of patients per HIPAA regulations.
- Actively demonstrates teamwork.
- Follows other policies and procedures such that there are no verbal or written warnings during the evaluation period.
- Always adheres to company safety standards.
