About The Position

Cardiology Center of Houston is in search of a Full Time Dual Sonographer to join our team in Katy, TX. This role involves performing 2-D Echo and Doppler studies, as well as a variety of noninvasive vascular evaluations. The sonographer will explain procedures to patients, obtain informed consent, and ensure all required licensure/certification remain active. A key aspect of this role is providing excellent customer service and the highest quality patient care, while strictly protecting patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations. The position also emphasizes teamwork, adherence to company policies and procedures, and maintaining safety standards. This is a Monday-Friday position with no weekends or on-call duties, located in the growing Houston suburb of Katy, TX, known for its family-friendly atmosphere, top-rated schools, affordable housing, and strong job market. Requirements

Credentialed in Adult Echocardiography and Vascular (ARDMS or CCI) is required.

Minimum of two years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs 2-D Echo and Doppler studies.
Responsible for performing a variety of noninvasive vascular evaluations.
Explains procedures to patients and obtains informed consent from patient.
Ensures all required licensure/certification always remain active/current.
Provides excellent customer service and the highest quality patient care.
At all times protects the confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) of patients per HIPAA regulations; including does not review his/her own record, or records of employees or co-workers without a “need to know”.
Actively demonstrates teamwork.
Follows other policies and procedures such that there are no verbal or written warnings during the evaluation period.
