About The Position

A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to assist cardiologists with invasive, diagnostic, interventional cardiac, vascular, and electrophysiology procedures, perform technical hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation, provide high-quality patient care, and support cardiovascular services while ensuring safe and efficient procedural outcomes.

Requirements

Associate's degree in a related field or Certificate of Completion from a Radiology Program.
Current Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) Radiologic Technology License.
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registration in Radiology.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Knowledge of invasive cardiovascular procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, radiologic imaging principles, and patient care.

Responsibilities

Assist cardiologists during invasive, diagnostic, interventional cardiac, vascular, and electrophysiology procedures while maintaining a safe and efficient procedural environment.
Perform technical hemodynamic monitoring and interpret hemodynamic data using automated monitoring techniques throughout cardiovascular procedures.
Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and patients while ensuring compliance with established clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
Provide patient-centered care before, during, and after procedures by monitoring patient status, responding to clinical needs, and supporting the procedural team.
Perform additional cardiovascular imaging and procedural support duties as assigned to meet departmental and patient care needs.
