About The Position
This is a full-time, 100% FTE position for a Cardiovascular Operating Room RN at UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital. The role involves working day shifts, with potential for evening, night, and weekend differentials, as well as overtime and on-call pay. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois.
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
- After March 1, 2026, require the ACLS within one year of hire.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a cardiovascular operating room or as a RN.
- Prior experience in robotic surgical systems and endovascular suites.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Specialty certification in area of concentration.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Cardiovascular Operating Room setting.
- Provide nursing care.
- Potentially work evening, night, and weekend shifts.
- Participate in overtime and on-call duties as required.
