About The Position

Holy Cross Hospital - Davis, a 220-bed hospital serving northern Utah, has expanded its services with a new 16,000-square-foot healthcare facility in Roy, known as the Weber Campus. This campus offers emergency care, radiology, mammography, and 24/7 laboratory services. The role is situated in a location with convenient access to Ogden, Salt Lake City, and numerous outdoor recreational activities. The position is in a supportive, team environment with resources and leaders dedicated to employee success. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available for eligible external applicants with at least six months of Cardiovascular Lab Specialist experience, hired into a full-time or part-time position. Relocation assistance of up to $8,000 may also be available depending on location. A $4.75 Cath Lab Differential applies upon hire.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED, required.
BLS from the American Heart Association, required.
Must obtain within 18 months: RCIS through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Or RCES, Or ARRT with post primary certification of Cardiac- Interventional Radiography through the ARRT.
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

Graduate from a health science program with at least one year of experience. IE RT, Radiology, Paramedic, etc
Graduate from a programmatically accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology.
Experience in invasive cardiovascular technology, preferred.
Cardiac diagnostic/interventional procedural experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

Effectively assist physicians in performing a variety of highly specialized Cardiovascular procedures including, but not limited to, diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation (IABP), and electrophysiology studies
