About The Position

Holy Cross Hospital - Davis is a 220-bed hospital located in northern Utah, offering a broad range of services and advanced medical technology. They have recently opened a new healthcare facility, the Weber Campus, which provides emergency care, radiology, mammography, and 24/7 laboratory services. The location offers convenient access to Ogden, Roy, Hill Air Force Base, Salt Lake City, and outdoor recreational activities. This role involves assisting physicians in performing highly specialized Cardiovascular procedures, including diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation (IABP), and electrophysiology studies. The position offers a supportive, team environment with resources for professional growth.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED, required.
• BLS from the American Heart Association, required.
• Must obtain within 18 months: RCIS through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Or RCES, Or ARRT with post primary certification of Cardiac- Interventional Radiography through the ARRT.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate from a health science program with at least one year of experience. IE RT, Radiology, Paramedic, etc OR Graduate from a programmatically accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology.
• Experience in invasive cardiovascular technology, preferred.
• Cardiac diagnostic/interventional procedural experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Effectively assist physicians in performing a variety of highly specialized Cardiovascular procedures including, but not limited to, diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation (IABP), and electrophysiology studies

Benefits

• $7,500 sign-on bonus for qualified external applicants with at least six months of Cardiovascular Lab Specialist experience (hired into a full-time or part-time position; PRN positions are not eligible. Some exclusions apply.)
• $4.75 Cath Lab Differential Applies upon hire.
