About The Position

The Noninvasive Lab is a specialized department within a healthcare facility dedicated to performing diagnostic tests and supporting improved quality of life for patients. This unit, composed of registered nurses, nuclear medicine technicians, sonographers, and exercise physiologists, provides high-quality care to assist physicians in diagnosing, managing, and treating cardiovascular conditions. Additionally, our Cardiac Rehab program helps patients recover and improve their heart health following a cardiac event. Operating Room Nurses provide care and support to patients before, during and after surgery. Clinical decision-making incorporates all four phases of the nursing process, critical thinking and creativity.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• Bachelor’s or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor’s degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. If not already certified, applicants must obtain BLS within 30 days of their hire date.
