About The Position

HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to join our Dedicated On Call Team with our Cardiac Cath Lab! In this role, you’ll play an essential part in supporting physicians during a variety of invasive and diagnostic/interventional procedures, including cardiac, vascular, neuro, and electrophysiology procedures. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team to provide safe, high-quality care while helping make a meaningful difference in the patient experience.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in radiologic technology, allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program is required.
  • 2 years of experience working in a cath lab radiologic technologist role is required.
  • Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is required.
  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced certification is preferred: Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) certification from ARRT or certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
