About The Position

HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to join our dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab team. Cardiovascular Invasive Technologists play an essential role in supporting physicians during invasive and diagnostic/interventional cardiac, vascular, neuro, and electrophysiology procedures while helping deliver safe, high-quality patient care. We are hiring Cardiovascular Invasive Technologists at Levels I, II, and III. Placement within the appropriate level and compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and meeting position requirements.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in radiologic technology, allied health, or applied science or completion of certificate/training program.
  • 4 years of experience working in a cath lab or special procedures radiologic technologist role.
  • Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice.
  • Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Responsibilities

  • Supporting physicians during invasive and diagnostic/interventional cardiac, vascular, neuro, and electrophysiology procedures.
  • Delivering safe, high-quality patient care.
  • Cross-trained and able to rotate to perform at least four (f) functional skill sets as delegated in any diagnostic or interventional case type performed.
