About The Position

HSHS is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join the Cath Lab Flex Team, supporting cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular procedures and structural heart procedures at both St. Vincent Hospital and St. Nicholas Hospital. This role is ideal for patient-focused, mission-driven individuals who thrive in a flexible environment and are committed to delivering high-quality care across multiple locations based on patient and provider needs. The position is part-time, 32 hours per week, with day shifts from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. It also includes 9-10 days of on-call duty per month. Daily assignments and work locations may vary based on provider schedules, patient volumes, and departmental needs. The role remains part of the Cath Lab on-call rotation. The primary facilities are St. Nicholas Hospital (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and St. Vincent Hospital (Tuesday, Thursday).

Requirements

  • Associates degree in radiologic technology, allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program is required.
  • Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is required.
  • Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
  • For Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist II: 2 years of experience working in a cath lab or special procedures radiologic technologist role is required.
  • For Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist II: Cross-trained and able to rotate to perform at least three (3) functional skill sets as delegated in any diagnostic or interventional case type performed.
  • For Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist I: Experience in radiology/diagnostic imaging is preferred.
  • For Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist I: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
