This role involves assisting in all aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures. Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, monitoring hemodynamic parameters, operating interventional equipment, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. The specialist will document supplies and implants, prepare and position patients, provide patient education, and adhere to radiation safety regulations. The role also includes setting up and turning over procedure rooms, participating in ongoing education, assisting physicians with contrast media administration, maintaining inventory, performing equipment checks, and assisting with vascular surgeries. Proficiency in computerized informatics and participation in quality improvement initiatives are expected. Use of lead apron and other PPE is required. On-call duties are mandatory for off-shifts, weekends, and holidays. The position requires providing excellent service to all patients and visitors.
