About The Position

The Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist 3 assists the physician in performing interventional, cardiovascular, and operating room procedures. Produces images to actively assist the attending physician. Uses pre-established imaging protocols and departmental policy to perform safe operation of imaging equipment and all functions of the job. May provide complete pre and post education to patients and family. Able to evaluate competency level of others as preceptor. Leads and directs the work of others. Attend meetings as designated by clinical supervisor or department director. Provide input regarding departmental changes. Act as a resource for all imaging technologists in cardiac cath lab, electrophysiology, and/or interventional radiology. Address physician concerns in conjunction with clinical supervisor and departmental director. Significant departmental responsibilities delegated by the clinical Director/Supervisor.
