About The Position
This role is for a Cardiovascular & Electrophysiology Specialist III at Atrium Health Cabarrus Vascular Lab. It is a full-time position with benefits, working 4 10-hour shifts Monday-Friday, with occasional call after hours/weekends. Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of high school and an accredited program of Cardiovascular/Cardiopulmonary technology, The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or related field required.
- If not licensed or certified (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist), allied health professional will have up to 12 months to successfully obtain.
- Graduate of an accredited Allied Health Technology program, such as Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, or comparable.
- Graduate of Cardiovascular Interventional Program or minimum of two years of experience as a Cardiovascular Specialist.
- Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English.

Responsibilities
- Demonstrates evidence-based practice and performs care for the comfort and wellbeing of the patient.
- Performs and/or assists with treatments, therapies, and procedures (including scrub assistant, monitoring and circulating) under the direction of the physician.
- Administers medication under the direct supervision of the physician, as appropriate.
- Documents a current clinical picture and records designated information in the patient record.
- Conveys relevant information to physicians and teammates.
- Calculates, interprets and analyzes data.
- Assists in development of policies, procedures and standards of care reflective of current practice/literature.
- Highly Recommended to participate in committee and governance activities.
