Cardiovascular/EKG Tech (Full-Time, Nights)
About The Position

The Cardiovascular/EKG Tech schedules and assists with EKGs and other diagnostic cardiac evaluations, including treadmill, arm and bicycle ergometer, nuclear studies, Holter monitoring, signal average testing, and personal wellness profiles. Patients may include neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The work schedule is 6 PM–6:30 AM, with rotating weekend requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma, equivalent education (GED), or post-secondary education.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience as a Cardiology Technician.
- Certification such as EKG, CNA, or similar.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and assist in performing EKGs.
- Assist with treadmill, arm and bicycle ergometer, nuclear studies, Holter monitoring, signal average testing, and personal wellness profiles for diagnostic cardiac evaluation.
- Work with patients from neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
