About The Position

Southeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Cardiovascular Diagnostic Registered Nurse for their Brunswick Campus. This role provides direct nursing care to patients and assists the Cardiologist during all phases of cardiac care. The nurse will perform various technical and administrative duties related to the Cardiac Cath Lab and Cardiology departments, primarily working with adult and geriatric patient populations. All team members are expected to promote a culture of safety, follow policies, and adhere to regulatory requirements, Joint Commission standards, and national patient safety standards.

Requirements

Graduate of a Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor degree program from a School of Nursing.
Minimum of two (2) years Cath Lab, ICU, or Critical Care (i.e. ED, IMCU, complex tele) experience.
Current RN license to practice in the State of Georgia.
Must have the American Heart Association ACLS Certification.
Must complete IV Conscious Sedation competencies.

Responsibilities

Provides direct nursing care to the patient.
Provides assistance to the Cardiologist during all phases of Cardiac care.
