About The Position

The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their Cardiothoracic Team. This role involves providing superior patient care in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. The Physician Assistant will first assist in Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgeries, manage inpatient care from admission to discharge, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. The position offers access to advanced cardiac care technology and utilizes Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to enhance efficiency and work-life balance. The role emphasizes a high quality of life with defined work schedules and a supportive team environment.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of Cardiothoracic and Vascular APP experience, preferred.
Proficiency with Endovascular Vein Harvesting (EVH).
Certifications in BLS and ACLS (preferred).

Expertise in Endovascular Vein Harvesting (EVH).
Radial Artery Harvesting is a Plus!

Responsibilities

First assist in Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgeries.

Utilize Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation and improve patient flow.
