About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery in Hartford, CT. The role is inpatient, covering call only from Friday 6 PM to Sunday 6 PM, ASAP and ongoing. The provider will work autonomously and will not have a supervising physician present during the assignment. The patient demographic includes adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, with an average daily volume of 10. Rounding is included. The facility is a Level I Trauma center and uses EPIC EMR. Hospital privileges are required.

Requirements

• Board-certified PA (NCCPA)
• Active Connecticut License
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Must be able to cover both sites (35-mile distance)
• Must be local
