About The Position

The Cardiopulmonary Technician assists the anesthesia provider in caring for patients and preparing for complex cases such as open-heart surgery, valve replacements, pacer lead extractions, and liver and kidney transplants. This role involves assembling and maintaining anesthesia equipment, assisting with operating room turnovers, and cleaning/stocking operating rooms.

Requirements

• 2 year/Associate Degree - OR - combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Associate Degree
• Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
• Relevant Experience
• BLS Certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire date
• LPN or certification from Certified Anesthesia Technology Program
• Computer Skills to include use and navigation
• Excellent Communications Skills
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills
• General Clerical Skills
• Microsoft Office Applications
• Strong Team Player
