About The Position

A Cardiopulmonary Tech I is responsible for performing neurology, vascular, and cardiology diagnostic testing. This role requires the ability to deliver appropriate care to patients from neonate through geriatric, considering age-specific needs. The position involves maintaining good physical well-being, including walking, bending, pushing heavy equipment and wheelchairs, and occasional lifting of patients. It also requires good emotional well-being and the ability to work under stress. This is a PRN (as needed) position.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BLS required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience performing EKG’s, treadmill stress testing, or electroencephalographs preferred but not required.
• ACLS strongly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performing neurology, vascular, and cardiology diagnostic testing.
• Delivering appropriate care to patients from neonate through geriatric with regards to age specific considerations.
• Walking, bending, pushing heavy equipment and wheelchairs, and occasional lifting of patients.
• Working under stress.
