About The Position
As a Central Processing Technician, you'll be responsible for keeping our operating rooms and hospital floors running smoothly! This role involves hands-on cleaning and sterilizing of medical instruments, assembly, processing, and distribution of medical instruments, and playing a crucial role in infection prevention by maintaining the highest sterilization standards. You will also be responsible for organizing and storing instruments efficiently, collaborating with operating room staff, hospital floors, and outside departments, and performing quality control to ensure high standards. The role requires adapting to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and assisting in the implementation of new initiatives. There are opportunities for career advancement to Tech II or III for those who are patient, detail-oriented, love hands-on work, and can take direction.
