About The Position

CVS Health is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse to provide education and clinical support to patients with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) and their caregivers. The role focuses on helping patients understand complex PAH therapies, including training and support for infused, inhaled, and oral therapies. The educator works in a specialized home-care setting and builds one-on-one relationships with patients and caregivers. The position collaborates with physicians, clinicians, pharmacy operations, and sales teams to coordinate patient care. Work is partly remote and largely involves in-person patient visits: approximately 20–30% of the time is spent working from home educating patients about oral or inhaled therapies, and 70–80% is spent visiting patients for infused-therapy education. Most local travel is within an hour of Detroit; other travel is primarily within Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and the Central Region. Overnight travel is expected approximately once per month, with occasional additional trips. Travel is by car and airplane, and candidates must live within one hour of a major airport. Participation in an on-call rotation every 4–6 weeks is required, subject to staffing and business needs. This is a direct-hire, full-time role with 40 anticipated weekly hours. The listed annual pay range is $60,522–$129,615, with potential eligibility for a bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program. The role requires an unrestricted Michigan RN license, the ability to obtain additional licensure for the multistate service area, relevant infusion experience, current CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Requirements

Current unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Michigan and ability to obtain additional licensure for the multistate service area.
At least two years of experience in a critical-care or acute-care hospital setting providing high-tech infusions, or two years of high-tech home-infusion experience.
Ability to build positive business relationships with medical and clinical personnel at all levels.
Ability to travel as described and as business needs require.
Current CPR certification.
Valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance.
Must reside within one hour of a major airport.
Ability to participate in the on-call rotation as determined by staffing and business needs.
RN diploma, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Responsibilities

Educate patients and caregivers about PAH therapies and provide infusion training and clinical support.
Assist patients who are initiating or transitioning to infused or inhaled PAH therapies.

Build and maintain deep one-on-one relationships with patients and caregivers in the home-care setting.
Provide education on oral and inhaled therapies remotely and visit patients in person to educate them on infused therapies.
Travel by car and airplane to see patients, support the sales team, and attend training as needed.
Participate in the on-call rotation as determined by staffing and business needs.
Communicate with key partners using strong written and verbal customer-service skills and advanced computer skills.
