About The Position

CVS Health is hiring a Registered Nurse as a Cardiopulmonary Patient Educator to provide education and clinical support to patients and caregivers receiving complex Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) therapies. The educator provides infusion training, helps patients start or transition to infused or inhaled therapies, and develops close one-on-one relationships with patients and caregivers in a home-care setting. The role involves coordinating care with physicians, clinicians, pharmacy operations, and the sales team, and offers autonomy in a highly specialized nursing area. The position is direct-hire and full-time, with 40 anticipated weekly hours. Work is approximately 20–30% from home while educating patients on oral or inhaled therapies and 70–80% in patient homes for infused therapy education. About 80% of in-person travel is within a one-hour drive of Detroit; the remainder is primarily in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and other states in the Central Region. Overnight visits occur approximately once a month, and travel by car and airplane is required. Candidates must live within one hour of a major airport. The role participates in an on-call rotation, generally every 4–6 weeks, according to staffing and business needs. The listed annual pay range is $60,522–$129,615. The position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program. Requirements

Current unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Michigan, with ability to obtain additional licensure for the multi-state service area.
Two years of experience in a critical care or acute care hospital setting providing high-tech infusions, or two years of high-tech home infusion experience.
Ability to build positive business relationships with medical and clinical personnel at all levels.
Ability to travel as described and as business needs require.
Current CPR certification.
Valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance.
Must live within one hour of a major airport.
RN diploma, associate degree, or Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.

Nice To Haves

Experience caring for patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH); noted as beneficial but not required.
Home healthcare experience; preferred but not required.
Pediatric experience; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Educate patients and caregivers about complex PAH therapies and provide infusion training and clinical support.
