If the incumbent is an RN, this role combines cardiopulmonary departmental management responsibilities with clinical support initiatives aimed at improving staff competency, patient outcomes, and workflow efficiency. The position is split between management of cardiopulmonary services and broader nursing support functions, including staff education, policy and procedure management, quality improvement initiatives, and flexible clinical support during periods of high patient volume or operational need.
