Cardiology Technician
About The Position
The Cardiology Technician provides essential assistance to healthcare professionals in delivering patient care and supports the diagnostic, therapeutic, and procedural aspects of patient care. The role helps ensure smooth clinical operations and works with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to support cardiovascular care for patients of all ages. This is an entry-level clinical individual-contributor position. Work is routine or follows standard procedures, is closely supervised, and typically involves delivering support services in a clinical discipline. Specialty licensure or certification is required and is acquired through training and/or experience.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- No experience required.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and frequently bend, stoop, and travel.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull more than 100 pounds.
- May be exposed to chemicals, radiation, blood/body fluids, and infectious disease.
