About The Position
The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a full-time Cardiologist to join its practice in Mount Sinai Doctors-Forest Hills. Mount Sinai Doctors-Forest Hills offers a new healthcare delivery concept in Queens, combining skilled physicians and the expertise of a leading academic medical center with personalized patient care. It integrates academic practice and advanced science within a private practice setting. Mount Sinai Fuster Heart at Forest Hills is an expanding ambulatory cardiology center with general cardiologists and specialists in Advanced Heart Failure and Electrophysiology. The center is equipped with a state-of-the-art echocardiography and nuclear laboratory, committed to providing the highest level of care. In Forest Hills, the ideal candidate will collaborate with other cardiologists, PCPs, non-cardiac specialists, and staff to ensure excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and patient satisfaction. A passion for Cardiology and commitment to the Mount Sinai Health System's mission are essential. In addition to ambulatory work in Forest Hills, the successful candidate will participate in clinical activities at Mount Sinai Queens Hospital, including inpatient care and cardiac testing. The role offers eligibility for faculty appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine, opportunities to attend patients at The Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, and participation in the academic and clinical activities of Mount Sinai Fuster Heart, including conferences, teaching, and clinical research. The division follows the Icahn School of Medicine's mission of an integrative approach to patient care, research, and education, viewing these as inseparable components of medicine.
Requirements
- Board certified or eligible in Cardiology.
- Licensed to practice medicine in New York State.
- Eligible for a faculty appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine.
- Passion for Cardiology.
- Fully committed to the mission of the Mount Sinai Health System.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Advanced Heart Failure and Electrophysiology.
- Experience with echocardiography and nuclear laboratory procedures.
Responsibilities
- Play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and patient satisfaction.
