About The Position
Atria Health Institute is a membership-based primary and specialty healthcare practice focused on prevention and longevity. They are building a multidisciplinary team of renowned physicians to provide proactive, preventive, and precision-based care. All aspects of care, including primary care, advanced screening, diagnostics, urgent care, specialty care, home visits, and imaging, are included in the annual membership fee. Atria's mission is to equalize healthspan and lifespan by translating science into medicine in real-time and bringing humanity back into healthcare. The organization is expanding to the West Coast with the launch of its Los Angeles Institute in late spring 2026, offering an opportunity to join the founding LA team. This role involves developing clinical operations for their largest clinic, maintaining a strong organizational culture, and collaborating with various departments to drive excellence.
Requirements
- Current CA License required as NP for specialty, or current CA Licensed PA
- 2+ year’s experience as a practicing NP or PA-C
- BLS & ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Availability to be flexible with weekend coverage

Nice To Haves
- Preferred prior cardiac experience inpatient and/or outpatient
- Internal Medicine, Primary Care, Urgent Care, Emergency, and Family Medicine experience
Responsibilities
- Partner with Cardiologists to perform comprehensive health assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests, to identify patients' health status and needs.
- Diagnose acute and chronic cardiac health conditions, formulate differential diagnoses, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Collaborate with Cardiologists to facilitate appropriate testing.
- Manage chronic conditions, monitor patients' progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize health outcomes.
- Complete Prior Authorizations.
- Educate patients and families about health promotion strategies, cardiovascular disease prevention measures, and lifestyle modifications to improve overall health and well-being.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, care coordination, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Perform clinical skills that include but are not limited to; phlebotomy, IV insertion, holter placements, ambulatory blood pressure monitors, and EKG.
- Prepare charts for Cardiologists, including patient histories, assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Assist in completing any forms for patient care such as Radiology questionnaires.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
- Adhere to ethical principles and professional standards of practice, maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and respect for patients' rights and dignity.
- Comply with legal and regulatory requirements governing nursing practice, licensure, and scope of practice.
