About The Position
Bay Area Cardiology Associates, a partner practice of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA), is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing cardiovascular team serving the Greater Tampa Bay area. This position offers a dynamic blend of outpatient and inpatient cardiology, allowing providers to work closely with an established team of Cardiologists and Advanced Practice Providers while gaining exposure to a broad range of cardiovascular conditions and procedures.
Requirements
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active Florida license or ability to obtain
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
- Interest in cardiovascular medicine and collaborative practice
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage cardiology patients in both clinic and hospital settings
- Conduct patient assessments, follow-up visits, and hospital rounding
- Develop and manage treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing
- Manage medications and specialty referrals
- Provide patient education and support
- Participate in cardiovascular care across a variety of subspecialties and practice settings
