About The Position
Join a Growing, High-Performing Cardiology Team. Adena Health System is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner) to join our expanding Inpatient Cardiology team in Chillicothe, Ohio. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of one of our highest-profile service lines as we continue to grow our regional cardiovascular program and expand access to specialized cardiac care. Our collaborative cardiology team currently includes: 3 Non-Invasive Cardiologists, 3 Interventional Cardiologists (expanding to 6), 1 Electrophysiologist, 1 Cardiothoracic Surgeon, 4 Inpatient Nurse Practitioners, and 5 Outpatient Nurse Practitioners (cross-trained to assist inpatient when needed). As our cardiovascular services continue to expand, you'll work alongside experienced physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff dedicated to providing outstanding patient care. This is a 100% inpatient position providing comprehensive cardiovascular care to hospitalized patients.
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner experience within a health system setting
- Previous experience in Cardiology
- Previous experience in Critical Care
- Previous experience in Cardiac Catheterization Lab
- Previous experience in Emergency Department
- Previous experience in Hospital Medicine
- New graduates are encouraged to apply if they possess a strong nursing background in cardiology or other relevant acute care specialties.

Responsibilities
- Performing inpatient cardiology consultations
- Conducting subsequent patient visits
- Participating in daily physician rounds
- Collaborating with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans
- Managing patient care independently while working closely with the physician team
- Delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment
