Cardiology Nurse Practitioner - Inpatient
About The Position
Adena Health System is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner) to join our expanding Inpatient Cardiology team in Chillicothe, Ohio. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of one of our highest-profile service lines as we continue to grow our regional cardiovascular program and expand access to specialized cardiac care. The position is 100% inpatient, providing comprehensive cardiovascular care to hospitalized patients. The team is known for being close-knit, supportive, and highly collaborative, with physicians and APPs working together with mutual respect. As Adena continues to expand cardiovascular services, the vision includes recruiting additional cardiologists, growing the regional cardiovascular presence, enhancing specialty cardiac programs, and increasing access to advanced heart care.
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner experience within a health system setting
- Previous experience in Cardiology
- Previous experience in Critical Care
- Previous experience in Cardiac Catheterization Lab
- Previous experience in Emergency Department
- Previous experience in Hospital Medicine
- Strong nursing background in cardiology or other relevant acute care specialties (for new graduates)

Responsibilities
- Performing inpatient cardiology consultations
- Conducting subsequent patient visits
- Participating in daily physician rounds
- Collaborating with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans
- Managing patient care independently while working closely with the physician team
- Delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment
