About The Position

In this role, you will partner closely with one of the areas most skilled and reputable non-interventional cardiologist in a shared office setting to evaluate, manage, and support patients across the continuum of cardiology care. Our practice utilizes a strong APP support model designed to maximize your efficiency and focus on patient care. Requirements

  • Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) eligible for licensure in Oregon.
  • 1 to 2+ years of clinical experience, preferably in cardiology or internal medicine, including outpatient practice exposure.
  • Strong EKG interpretation skills and sound independent clinical judgment.
  • Efficient, patient-focused, and highly team-oriented.
  • Comfortable managing common cardiovascular conditions independently, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and hypertension, with the ability to order appropriate diagnostic studies and optimize guideline-directed medical therapy.
  • Good with communication and time management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage cardiac follow-up appointments and chronic cardiovascular disease cases.
  • Interpret electrocardiograms (EKGs) accurately.
  • Perform thorough surgical cardiac clearance evaluations.
  • Maintain a standard patient volume of 16 to 20 patients per day.
  • Collaborate directly with the attending cardiologist on complex cases.
