About The Position

We are seeking a Cardiologist for a Locum Tenens position in Massena, NY. This role involves providing coverage in both a hospital and outpatient clinic setting. The position requires clinical duties and on-call responsibilities from December 7, 2026, to June 7, 2027. The clinical shift schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, with on-call coverage from Monday to Friday, 4 PM to 8 AM, as needed. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are not covered for this position. The facility utilizes the Epic EMR system, and the reason for coverage is a vacancy due to an APP departure.

Requirements

• Active New York medical license
• BC in Cardiology
• AHA or RQI certifications (BLS, ACLS)
• Epic experience required
• No residents/fellows

Nice To Haves

• Nuclear Stress Test Interpretation
• 5+ years experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient clinic coverage approximately 3 days per week.
• Supervise stress tests approximately 1 day per week.
• Perform inpatient consults and stress lab duties.
• Provide on-call coverage from 4p to 8a as needed.
• Read nuclear portion of stress tests and participate in hospital consult service rotation as needed.
