About The Position

We are seeking a Cardiologist for a Locum Tenens position at a hospital in Greensboro, NC. This role involves providing consultative services, evaluation and management (E&M) for cardiology patients, and interpreting echocardiograms and nuclear studies. The physician will care for patients admitted under Cone Health Heartcare and will serve as second call for nights and weekends. The coverage period is from December 14, 2026, to April 10, 2028. The EMR system used is EPIC.

Requirements

• Active NC license
• BC in Cardiology
• DEA required
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• 1-2 years of experience
• Hospital privileges required

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative services and evaluation & management (E&M) services for cardiology patients.
• Interpret echocardiograms and nuclear studies performed in the hospital.
• Provide care for patients admitted under Cone Health Heartcare.
• Maintain a manual log of all charges.
• Serve as second call for nights and weekends as scheduled.
