About The Position

Seeking a Cardiologist for a Locum Tenens position in Scranton, PA. This inpatient role involves clinical duties and call coverage from November 9, 2026, ongoing. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day, with coverage needed 1-2 weeks per month. Call duties include nights and weekends with a 1:2 ratio, beeper call type, a 30-minute response time, and a 5% callback rate. This position is to provide supplemental coverage.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE).
• Valid PA license or IMLC.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• ABLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient cardiology care, including ICU.
• Perform non-invasive procedures such as Echocardiography and TEE.
• Supervise APPs and Residents.
• Handle phone consults.
• Participate in call duties, including nights and weekends.
