About The Position

DocStar Medical Partners is seeking a Cardiologist for a job opportunity in New York. This role is located in a hospital facility and requires an MD with a specialty in Cardiology. The assignment is expected to last 6-9 months with an option to extend, starting on 8/17/2026 and ending on 3/31/2027. Credentialing will take approximately 60 days. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 6 pm, for 3 weeks per month. The provider will be working in a solo practice, with an APP currently in place who will be leaving at the end of September. The hospital is an Adult III IV Trauma Level Acute Care Hospital.

Requirements

• NY License
• BC (Board Certified)
• AHA or RQI certs

Nice To Haves

• > 5 years experience
• Board Certified to read Cardiac Imaging studies (to include Nuclear Stress tests - not a deal breaker if they can't read NUCs, this would be preferred by not required)

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic: approx 3 days per week
• Supervising Stress Tests: approx 1 day per week
• On-Call: 4p - 8a (as needed to fill in holes)
• Read Nuclear portion of a stress test - (as needed to support the other providers who read NUCs - this is not a deal breaker if someone cannot read NUCs)
• Hospital Consult service rotation (this again will be ad hoc)
