About The Position
We are currently seeking an Outpatient Cardiologist for a Direct Hire / Full-time position in Roswell, NM. This opportunity is open to J-1 and H-1B visa candidates with appropriate sponsorship support. The position is in an outpatient cardiology clinic and involves direct hire, full-time employment. There is minimal to no hospital call. The patient mix includes general cardiology with opportunities to focus on areas such as heart failure, ischemic heart disease, arrhythmias, and preventive cardiology. Key responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patients with cardiovascular conditions, providing longitudinal outpatient care with an emphasis on chronic disease management and prevention, interpreting cardiac diagnostics, collaborating with other healthcare providers, and maintaining EMR documentation.
Requirements
- MD / DO (or equivalent international degree)
- Board-Certified / Board-Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- Eligible for medical licensure in New Mexico
- Open to J-1 and H-1B visa candidates
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient cardiology experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.
- Provide longitudinal outpatient care with emphasis on chronic disease management and prevention.
- Interpret ECGs, stress tests, echocardiograms, and other cardiac diagnostics.
- Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists for comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR.
