About The Position

Seeking a Board Certified Cardiologist for a Locum Tenens position in Las Cruces, NM. This is an outpatient clinical role covering supplemental needs from ASAP through ongoing. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with coverage needed from October to December. The facility is a Level III Trauma Center utilizing the Medhost EMR system. The role involves providing general cardiology care, managing approximately 15 patients per day, and interpreting echocardiograms. Invasive cardiology diagnostic procedures are also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

• Board Certified
• Licensed in NM or IMLC
• BLS certification
• General Cardiology
• Non-invasive: Echocardiography, TEE
• Invasive cardiology - diagnostic only

Responsibilities

• Provide general cardiology care in an outpatient clinic setting
• Take generalist responsibilities
• Read and interpret echocardiograms
• Perform TEE procedures as needed
• Manage patient volume of approximately 15 patients per day
