About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Cardiologist in Lincoln, NE. The coverage period is from November 6, 2026, to April 4, 2027, with a call-only schedule. The role involves performing rounding and consults for inpatient cardiology patients, conducting transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), and taking general night call. The facility does not have a cath lab, and emergencies or cardiac procedures are transferred. There is no clinic management involved.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE)
• Active NE license or willingness to obtain
• Active DEA Certification
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Clean Record (highly preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform rounding and consults for cardiology patients (inpatient)
• Perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs)
• Take general night call
• Manage hospital coverage (no clinic)
