About The Position

ChristianaCare is seeking a BC/BE Non-Invasive Clinical Cardiologist for new opportunities in beautiful Lewes and Georgetown, DE locations. Join our team at The Center for Heart and Vascular Health at ChristianaCare, consisting of 25 cardiologists and 16 advanced practice clinicians, in providing the highest-level care and treatments for cardiovascular diseases in our state-of-the-art facilities in Delaware. Our cardiologists participate in the full range of imaging studies in our ambulatory locations and have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our primary care partners in the development of population health-based initiatives. This is a progressive, innovative care role in a busy clinical practice. The Center for Heart and Vascular Health at Christiana Hospital sees 1,800 chest pain admissions annually and performs over 3,000 cardiac catheterizations, 1,400 PCIs, 1,600 EP procedures, and 880 cardiac surgical procedures annually. The Center also provides advanced heart failure services, including the placement and management of left-ventricular assist devices. There are opportunities to participate in the teaching of Cardiology Fellows and house staff, and engagement in clinical research. ChristianaCare is affiliated with the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. Additionally, the Center partners with the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) for cardiac transplantation and transplant medicine services. You will collaborate with other members of the section of Cardiology, which also includes diverse community-based practices.

Requirements

  • BE/BC in cardiology
  • Must have the ability to be licensed in the State of Delaware
  • Must meet credentialing requirements
