Cardiologist EP2 - Downey
About The Position
Southern California Permanente Medical Group is hiring an EP2 cardiologist for a full-time position in a 15-physician cardiology practice. The provider will perform a mixture of non-invasive cardiology and electrophysiology clinical work, participate in device clinic, and use OR/cath time for implantation of the full scope of tachycardia and bradycardia devices. The role also offers opportunities for off-site EP lab procedures. The position is based at Downey Medical Center and Orchard Medical Office Building. The anticipated start date is ASAP. The practice describes a collegial, team-oriented environment with physician autonomy, support from colleagues, opportunities for professional growth, open dialogue with the medical director, and wellness-related social activities. Eligible physicians may transition to SCPMG partnership after three consecutive years of full-time employment. Requirements
- Be board certified or board eligible.
- This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Provide non-invasive cardiology and electrophysiology clinical care.
- Participate in device clinic.
- Perform device implantation in the OR/cath setting, including the full scope of tachycardia and bradycardia devices.
- Participate in off-site EP lab procedures as opportunities arise.
