About The Position
Southern California Permanente Medical Group is hiring a full-time EP2 Cardiologist for a 15-physician cardiology practice. The position combines non-invasive cardiology and electrophysiology clinical work, including device clinic responsibilities, operating room and cath lab time for implantation of the full scope of tachycardia and bradycardia devices, and intermittent off-site EP lab procedures. The position is based at Downey Medical Center and Orchard Medical Office Building. The practice offers physician autonomy alongside a collaborative, collegial environment with access to support and resources. Physicians are encouraged to speak up and participate in open dialogue. The organization also promotes wellness through social activities such as bike rides, hikes, and happy hours. The anticipated start date is ASAP. SCPMG offers a comprehensive benefits and longevity-based compensation package. After three consecutive years of full-time employment, physicians may be eligible to transition to partnership, which includes increased benefits and voting rights on organizational decisions.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible.
Responsibilities
- Provide non-invasive cardiology care.
- Perform electrophysiology clinical work.
- Participate in device clinic.
- Use operating room and cath lab time to implant the full scope of tachycardia and bradycardia devices.
- Perform intermittent off-site EP lab procedures.
