About The Position
The Veterinary Specialty Centre of Newfoundland and Labrador is seeking a passionate and skilled Board Certified Cardiologist to join their exceptional team. This is the province’s only specialty referral center and full-service emergency hospital, founded to ensure pet owners do not have to leave the province for proper care. The hospital boasts the only board-certified radiologist, regular locum board-certified surgeons, a CT scanner, and an MRI machine. They also run a canine blood donor program and have the only ICU staffed 24 hours a day, Sunday – Thursday. The center offers the opportunity to practice gold standard medicine with an exciting and diverse caseload in the emergency department, fostering lifelong learning and growth. Requirements
- Board Certification or board eligible
- Licensed (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Newfoundland and Labrador
- Passion for veterinary medicine
- Enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude
- Strong desire to educate and build solid relationships with clients
- Excellent communication skills, both when dealing with clients and team members
- Strong organizational skills

Responsibilities
