About The Position

HSHS is seeking a Cardiac "Echo" Sonographer to join our cardiac imaging team. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven professionals looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge to support excellent patient care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of or currently enrolled in an allied health program
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) OR a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) - Required
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)-Preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)-Required
  • Must acquire registry within 6 months of employment.
  • Must be eligible to sit for the American Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International exam.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates - Preferred
  • Healthcare-Preferred
  • Specialty certification in adult echocardiography or pediatric echocardiography - Preferred.
