About The Position

Heartbeat Health is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist to join its clinical services team. The role provides on-site transthoracic echocardiograms to patients in partnership with the company’s clients, extending its virtual-first cardiovascular care model. The position involves working approximately three days per week on a 1099 contractor basis, with a preference for availability at least one Friday per month. The sonographer will travel to multiple locations during the week to perform exams onsite.

Requirements

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer.
• Accredited two-year degree in Allied Health, Nursing, or a comparable recognized and accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• At least two years of clinical experience.
• Experienced subject matter expert.
• Proficient in English.
• Excellent customer service skills, bedside manner, and overall energy.
• Forward-thinking and tech-savvy.
• Ability to work effectively, efficiently, and professionally in a team.
• Ability to complete patient exams independently with little direction.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Studycast is preferred but not required.
• Availability at least one Friday per month is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform complete transthoracic echocardiograms.
• Perform exams efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Follow standard protocols to ensure studies are accurate and complete.
• Attend monthly team meetings and occasional educational sessions.
• Travel to multiple locations throughout the week to perform on-site echocardiograms.
• Complete patient exams independently with little direction.
