About The Position

BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) for Christian Hospital (St. Louis, MO) - Graphics (Echocardiology) Dept. This role performs a variety of cardiac testing, including treadmill stress testing, holter monitoring, transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echo, stress echo and cardiac doppler. The department performs in-depth testing to determine the functioning of the human heart. Fantastic learning opportunities are available to gain experience and learn cutting-edge echo-guided procedures.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
• High School Diploma or GED
• No Experience
• No Experience (Supervisor Experience)
• RDCS or equiv

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree - Allied Health/Sonography
• <2 years experience
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Responsibilities

• Performs tests and procedures at various locations throughout the hospital.
• Maintains accurate patient logs in EPIC.
• Updates daily charges in the computer.
• Utilizes cardiac lab menus in the computer.
• Maintains cardiac lab patient files.
