About The Position

RESPONSIBLE FOR: Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• None, must become certified by ARDMS or ARRT or CCI within 6-month of employment.
• None
• BLS certified.

Nice To Haves

• Registered ARDMS, or ARRT and/or RVS/RVT (Registered Vascular Specialist) preferred.
